ABOUT THE SHIP

The Ocean Adventurer was built in 1976 and has undergone a number of refurbishments, most recently in 2017. She has all the features of a classy expedition vessel – lounge, bar, presentation room, library, gift shop, exercise room, and clinic – with the advantage of a refreshed, contemporary new look and feel throughout the ship. There are six new twin cabins and three new suites, along with two new Rolls Royce engines.

Note: there is no passenger elevator between decks

    All-inclusive service - beginning with the 2018-19 season all gratuities are included, and House wine and non-premium beers are included at dinner.

    Ability in ice – her high ice-class (1A) means she can manage well in icy conditions and get to landing sites with relative ease.

  • ELEGANT

    Spacious and elegant – both inside and out, the Ocean Adventurer impresses. Inside she has an old world feel with varnished wood and polished brass, while outside she has spacious outer decks for enjoying the breathtaking scenery.
